Blogger Prompt - Week 7, Term 1, 2018 


NZ Census


Roll call! This year is a Census year. A census is a big question form that gathers lots of information about all the people in New Zealand. The census only happens every 5 years. It is a snapshot of the New Zealand population on one night every five years and is compulsory to complete.

Here are the questions for this week:
Q1: What is your favourite subject at school and why?
Mahi time because you have a different varirty of things to do


Q2: Do you have any pets? What are they and what are their names? If you don't have a pet what pet would you have if you did?
I have two pets and there names are Bazil and Jess. Jess is a Chihuahua foxy cross and i dont know what Bazli is 


Q3: What are some of your favourite foods?
Noodle union, burgers 


Q4: What is your favourite sport? What do you like about it?
Netball because my sister taught me netball before i started playing netball  


Q5: What is your favourite hobby?
Danceing and singing 



Q6: Who do you live with?
My Mum and Dad and sister and my dogs


Q7: What is your ethnicity?
Nz, European



Q8: The Census video talks about finding out if there are enough parks. Do you have a park in your suburb? Do you think your suburb needs a park or a better park? What would make it better?
No it is a really good play ground 





Q9: Why do you think the government does a Census every 5 years?

My Sister On the sixth of December 2016 Belinda went on a trip to Fiji for a netball tournament to verse different teams from different parts of the world like Australia. She got to go on the tournament because she was training with Motivations New Zealand. The team selectors liked how she played and trained, so they asked her if she wanted to be apart of the Fiji tournament team, she agreed to be a part of the team. To go on the tournament she had to fundraise money so she could play netball for Motivations New Zealand. She managed to raise one-thousand five hundred dollars buy selling raffle tickets at her parents work and to family and friends. Some of her family members contributed huge amounts of money so she could go on the tournament. For example her grandfather gave her two-hundred dollars for her to go to Fiji to play netball. How to defend in the circle Step 1: take three steps away from your  partner as you keep practising you will know when you are three feet away Step 2: first put your right leg back (slightly) Step 3: do a half turn and keep your head straight facing your partner     Step 4: then do poss like superman with your fist open Step 5: make sure your front knee is slightly bent Step 6: if you fall bring your hand down to your side so you don’t get pulled up for contact Now you can different in the circle       Self Reflection 1) what has your level of enjoyment been throughout the writing/i movie process? e.g not my thing.
